The AES 21st Century Summer Camp students were excited to participate in a nutrition program led by Stacy Smith, the UK Cooperative Extension, and CCHS Cheerleaders.
As part of the camp’s “Turning Learning Inside Out” theme, students explored healthy snack options and learned the importance of making nutritious choices. The hands-on experience was both educational and fun, and the delicious snacks were a big hit with everyone. A great time was had by all as campers learned, tasted, and discovered new ways to stay healthy! 🍎🥕🌟
Week 2 of Turning Learning Inside Out at the 21st Century Summer Camp at Albany Elementary School!
Our campers have had another exciting week filled with learning, creativity, and hands-on experiences. Students have been busy exploring new concepts while participating in engaging enrichment activities, including community service projects, creative art activities, STEM challenges, and recycling projects.
We are so proud of our campers for their enthusiasm, hard work, and willingness to learn and grow each day. We can’t wait to see what adventures and opportunities next week will bring! 🌟💙📚♻️🎨🔬

The 21st Century Summer Camp at Albany Elementary School is turning learning inside out this summer and they are off to an amazing start!
This week, students have been busy exploring, creating, and learning through a variety of exciting enrichment activities, including STEM, art, and drama. From hands-on experiments and creative projects to interactive learning experiences, our campers are learning and having fun!
Our students are not only strengthening their academic skills, but they are also building confidence, making new friendships, and creating memories that will last long after summer ends.
Our outstanding 21st Century staff is bringing energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to each day and helping make this summer an unforgettable experience for our students.
We can't wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!

REMINDER! Clinton County will host a FREE Shoot Hoops Not Drugs basketball skills camp on Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 4:00-7:00 PM CT at Clinton County High School. This event is open to all school-age youth. No pre-registration is required. Participants will receive a free T-shirt and basketball, and food/water will be provided. Please arrive 15 minutes early. See the attached flyer for full details.

Albany Elementary School will begin accepting parent input forms on Tuesday, May 19, starting at 6:00 AM. Assistance with completing forms will be available Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Parents/guardians should check in at the front office. This opportunity is available for all students entering 1st through 4th grade for the upcoming school year.
